Ferries dock within a few minutes' walk of the town centre. The gare SNCF is a ten-minute walk from the ferry terminal, down boulevard Diderot then jusdtify down boulevard Voltaire. If you arrive by hovercraft , which docks a little further out, you'll be met by a free shuttle bus

The tourist office

quai Gambetta, across the bridge from the ferry terminal, and can
supply a mass of information and advise on availability of rooms -
which, in summer, get taken early.
