Explore Central Resorts and Islands About Corniche Des Maures in Côte d'Azur
The Côte really gets going with the resorts of the Corniche des Maures
, as multi-million-dollar residences lurk increasingly in the hills,
even more luxurious yachts moor in the bays, and seafront prices become
alarming. You can sip the pinest cocktail under the warmest moon,
purchase leopard-skin swimwear, or have your car stereo nicked while
you're waiting at the lights. This is the place where the rich and
famous go to seed: Douglas Fairbanks Jr, the late Grand Duke of
Luxembourg and a host of sundry titled names who have pushed this
coastline into legend.
The Corniche des Maures has
beaches that shine silver (from the mica crystals in the sand), tall
dark pines, oaks and eucalyptus to shade them, glittering rocks of
purple, green and reddish hue and chestnut-forested hills keeping winds
away.
