The gare SNCF and gare routière are
side by side off bd Carnot (part of the ring road). Not all buses use
the main station, though, and if you're heading for the countryside
it's best to check first with the regional tourist office at 16 bd Carnot (Mon-Sat 9am-12.30pm & 2-6.30pm; tel 03.25.82.62.70, fax 03.25.73.06.81, www.ot-troyes.fr
). Information on the town of Troyes can also be obtained from the
tourist office on rue Mignard, opposite the church of St-Jean (July
& Aug Mon-Sat 9am-8.30pm, Sun 10am-noon & 2-6.30pm; first two
weeks of Sept Mon-Sat 9am-7.30pm, Sun 10am-noon & 2-5pm; rest of
year Mon-Sat 9am-12.30pm & 2-6.30pm, Sun 10am-noon & 2-5pm; tel
03.25.73.36.88). Smaller tourist offices can be found in all the
churches mentioned in this section of the website, with the same
opening hours as the churches.
